Nike

US sportswear giant Nike has announced the appointment of Alexandre Arnault to its Board of Directors.

Alexandre Arnault currently serves as Deputy CEO of Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits division of French luxury group LVMH, and is the second son of LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault.

Prior to his current role, Alexandre Arnault spent four years at US luxury jewellery brand Tiffany & Co. as Executive Vice President of Product, Communications and Industrial, where he played a key role in the brand’s transformation. Before that, he spearheaded LVMH’s acquisition of RIMOWA and went on to serve as the brand’s CEO for four years, repositioning the brand and transforming its business model. Earlier in his career, building on his experience at McKinsey & Company and private equity firm KKR, Alexandre Arnault focused primarily on digital innovation and technology investments at LVMH and the family’s holding company Agache.

Alexandre Arnault currently sits on the Board of Directors of LVMH and serves as a trustee of The Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has previously served on the boards of Carrefour, Birkenstock and Italian luxury brand Moncler.

Alexandre Arnault is a graduate of Télécom Paris and holds a master’s degree from École Polytechnique.

Nike President and CEO Elliott Hill said that “Alexandre understands how some of the world’s most influential brands stay relevant, deepen consumer connections and drive long-term growth. His experience across innovation, digital transformation and brand building will be an asset as we continue to strengthen our connection with consumers, sharpen our competitive edge and accelerate NIKE’s next chapter of growth around the world.”

Skechers

US comfort technology company Skechers has appointed Tara McRae as Chief Marketing Officer.

Tara McRae previously worked at German sports brand PUMA, where she became the first woman to serve as President of PUMA North America.

In 2024, Tara McRae rejoined PUMA as Senior Vice President of Brand and Strategy. Prior to that, she served as Global Chief Marketing Officer and Digital Officer at British footwear company Clarks, as well as the inaugural Chief Marketing Officer of TB12, the global health and wellness brand founded by US football star Tom Brady.

Earlier in her career, Tara McRae worked at PUMA North America from 2006 to 2016, holding roles in media planning and sports marketing before taking on responsibility for marketing in the North American market.

Aigle

French outdoor brand Aigle has appointed Chris Kyvetos as Creative Director of Footwear at Large, on a contract basis.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Chris Kyvetos has been working with Aigle for more than a year, with the latest appointment expanding the scope of his responsibilities.

Chris Kyvetos will lead the transformation of Aigle’s footwear business and oversee the rollout of its new Lifeproof footwear platform. Aigle’s core objective in launching Lifeproof is not business diversification, but rather to further amplify qualities already inherent in the brand. Chris Kyvetos will lead the project over the long term, saying that “This is an ongoing project. It won’t be limited to just one or two quarters.”

Chris Kyvetos is the founder of athletic lifestyle brand Athletics FTWR®, and currently also serves as Head of Group Brands Architecture at British fashion retail group Frasers Group, where he oversees the group’s own-brand architecture.

With more than 20 years of experience in the footwear industry, Chris Kyvetos previously worked as a contract footwear designer for LVMH-owned fashion brand Kenzo, where, under the direction of Creative Director Nigo, he led footwear design, development and production. Earlier, he served as Vice President of Menswear at Mytheresa.
