Brunello Cucinelli’s Latest Quarterly Results: Revenue Up 13.5%, with a Strong Contribution from China

10月 26, 2026

On October 15, Italian luxury company Brunello Cucinelli released its results for the third quarter and first nine months of 2026, ended September 30. Revenue for the first nine months rose 10.2% year on year to €1.1236 billion, an increase of 13.3% at constant exchange rates. Third-quarter revenue reached €374.2 million, up 13.5% at constant exchange rates.

The group described its performance in the first nine months as “very, very positive“, with “very positive” results across all regions. At constant exchange rates, the Americas led growth (+20%), followed by Asia (+14%), where China made a particularly strong contribution.

As of the results announcement, Brunello Cucinelli’s share price was up 0.63% from the previous day at €83.70, although it had fallen approximately 5.4% over the past year. Its latest market capitalisation stood at around €5.7 billion.

Mr. Brunello Cucinelli, the brand’s founder and the company’s Executive Chairman and Creative Director, said, “We believe that the brand’s image around the world reflects what we have always aspired to: a belief in absolute luxury, without logo. We think of a Brand that stands for authenticity, style, familiarity and simplicity, where the product is the fruit of exceptional craftsmanship, quality, creativity, with a contemporary sensibility and a strong sense of exclusivity — the latter being of paramount importance to us.

“We also feel that ours is not a mass-market renown. The family’s stewardship of the Brand allows us to take a longer-term view, with the enduring hope of maintaining a sound and well-earned reputation and ensuring that the Brand continues to thrive for decades to come.”

The group said sales of its Autumn/Winter 2026 men’s and women’s collections, currently in stores, had been excellent. The order campaigns for the Spring/Summer 2027 men’s and women’s collections have concluded with outstanding results. The group also received highly favourable feedback from its sales teams, multibrand retail partners and the international press at Pitti Uomo in June and the recent Milan Women’s Fashion Week.

New stores made a very positive contribution to performance, with a more pronounced impact in the first half of the year. This was largely driven by store openings, expansions and relocations completed in the second half of 2025, including flagship relocations on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris and Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, and the expansion of the Bond Street store in London. The growth contribution from new stores will naturally normalise over time.

In the second half of this year, the brand will also officially unveil its new experiential space, Casa Cucinelli, housed in a historic building in Shanghai’s Jing’an District.

In early November, Brunello Cucinelli will also host the second edition of La Paulée in Solomeo, the village where the brand was founded, bringing together leading wine and champagne producers and collectors from around the world.

These positive signals have prompted the group to raise its full-year 2026 guidance, increasing its revenue growth forecast at constant exchange rates from 10%-11% to 12%. It also remains highly confident about 2027, forecasting healthy full-year revenue growth of around 10%.

— By Market:

Europe:

Revenue for the first nine months rose 7% year on year at constant exchange rates to €393.9 million, accounting for 35.1% of the group’s total revenue.

Europe continued to deliver balanced growth, driven by a particularly strong retail performance that sustained double-digit growth in the third quarter, continuing the first-half trend.

Local customers remained central to third-quarter performance, complemented by spending from international tourists in the highest luxury segment. The wholesale channel also grew during the quarter, supported by deliveries of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collections.

Americas:

Revenue for the first nine months rose 20% year on year at constant exchange rates to €418.3 million, accounting for 37.2% of the group’s total revenue.

The Americas maintained exceptionally strong growth, with the third quarter sustaining the positive momentum of the first half. Demand remained robust across the region, with excellent results in major cities, key resort destinations and emerging consumer markets, alongside continued expansion of the customer base.

Stores opened in Nashville and Naples in the first half, followed by San Diego in the third quarter. These openings allow the brand to expand its presence in line with its customers’ geographic reach while preserving its authentic luxury positioning.

Sales at multibrand boutiques and leading luxury department stores supported a positive contribution from the wholesale channel.

Asia:

Revenue for the first nine months rose 14% year on year at constant exchange rates to €311.4 million, accounting for 27.7% of the group’s total revenue.

Asia delivered double-digit growth in all three quarters of the year, with third-quarter growth in line with the second quarter.

China remained one of the region’s main growth engines, with a substantial increase in sales and the retail channel accounting for a growing share of the group’s total revenue. This growth was driven by rising demand for ready-to-wear, as consumers sought distinctive, exclusive clothing with an understated, sophisticated style. In China, Brunello Cucinelli is perceived as a fresh, dynamic brand firmly positioned at the highest level of luxury.

Japan and South Korea continued to deliver positive results, driven mainly by local customers. The Middle East remained resilient in the third quarter despite the seasonal lull in July and August and fewer international tourists. The region’s most important selling season begins in September, with its contribution largely reflected in fourth-quarter results.

— By Channel:

Retail:

Revenue for the first nine months rose 19% year on year at constant exchange rates to €741 million, accounting for 66% of total revenue.

The retail channel continued to deliver very positive growth, driven primarily by solid organic momentum and new stores. Third-quarter comparable sales maintained the first-half trend, with continued expansion of the customer base and increased spending by existing customers.

New, expanded and relocated stores made a particularly strong contribution in the first half, largely reflecting the impact of major projects completed in the second half of 2025. As the comparison base rises, the contribution of new stores to growth will naturally moderate in the second half. As of September 30, 2026, the group operated 142 directly managed boutiques.

Wholesale:

Revenue for the first nine months rose 4% year on year at constant exchange rates to €382.6 million, accounting for 34% of total revenue.

The channel performed in line with expectations, with third-quarter results supported by deliveries of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collections and replenishment orders for the Spring/Summer 2026 collections.

The group said these results also reflected the quality of its network of multibrand partners, which are essential to the brand’s longevity. Across both physical and digital channels, the group and its partners follow a rigorous distribution strategy to maintain consistent brand positioning.
