Bogner

German luxury sports fashion brand Bogner has appointed Arne Freundt as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1 this year.

Following his appointment, Arne Freundt will work alongside the existing management team to drive the brand’s development.

Arne Freundt previously spent 14 years at German sportswear company Puma, where he served as Group CEO until stepping down in April 2025. Prior to that, he led several global business units at Puma, holding roles including Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Before this appointment, Katjes International, a strategic investment group focused on consumer goods under German confectionery manufacturer Katjes Group, acquired a majority stake in Bogner in September 2025. Prior to the completion of the transaction, the CEO position had been vacant and was set to be filled under the new ownership structure.

Bogner Advisory Board Chairman Bastian Fassin said that they successfully attracted Arne Freundt to join, noting that he is one of Europe’s most experienced experts in the sports and lifestyle sector. He added that Freundt’s extensive board-level and executive management experience, combined with his deep global sales expertise gained at Puma, aligns strongly with the ambitious international growth objectives set for the luxury brand Bogner.
