According to the official government website of Hong Kong, French luxury brand Chanel has leased a double-story shop and the facade spanning from the first to fourth floors at Capitol Center in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong’s prime shopping district. The lease, effective from mid-May, will be for a duration of three years. The monthly rent for this prominent retail location exceeds HKD 3 million, making it one of the highest-value leases in Hong Kong since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
