From November 9 to 11, Canada Goose hosted an immersive Qingcheng Mountain Retreat at Qingcheng Mountain in Chengdu. Luxeplace was invited to attend the event.

Drawing inspiration from nature and blending Sichuan culture with Northern heritage, Canada Goose curated an immersive journey rooted in exploration and sustainability. The brand extended its ongoing sustainability narrative from the Sanjiangyuan region to Qingcheng Mountain, weaving together a rich tapestry of nature and culture.
According to the brand, the lush green mountains of Sichuan and the snowy peaks of Canada reflect and complement one another. “2025 marks the seventh anniversary of Canada Goose entering the Chinese market. Over the past seven years, we’ve remained steadfast in our journey. Through immersive experiences that celebrate culture and nature, the Qingcheng Mountain Retreat fully embodies our brand philosophy — to inspire the spirit of exploration and protect the habitats we call home.”

The event brought together Canada Goose’s global brand ambassador Greg Hsu, supermodel He Cong, media friends, cultural figures, and distinguished guests.

Over the three-day immersive journey, Canadian heritage and local culture intertwined with nature, highlighting Canada Goose’s commitment to connecting diverse cultures through authentic exploration, exceptional craftsmanship, and the great outdoors.
The welcome dinner was held at Six Senses Qingcheng Mountain, where the contours of Canada’s northern snow-capped peaks were reimagined with Eastern elegance. The evening featured a flowing Shu brocade dance, fragrant tea artistry with long-spout teapots, melodic Sichuan opera singing, and a contemporary reinterpretation of Sichuan opera’s face-changing art, breathing new life into this traditional performance.


At dawn the following day, guests hiked through Qingcheng Mountain, walking along forest trails and Taoist temples, immersing themselves in the tranquility and vitality of nature, where silent landscapes echo timeless philosophies of harmony between humanity and the universe. In the afternoon, a sustainability forum further explored the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature.

The brand’s iconic Chilliwack collection was displayed in a minimalist outdoor tent setting, paying tribute to its heritage while looking toward the future. In another space, the 2025 Fall/Winter limited-time experience showcased the latest collection designed for fearless self-expression — reimagining classic silhouettes with fresh styles that reflect Canada Goose’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of design, performance, and aesthetics.


As night fell, an open-air cinema lit up the mountainside, screening a philanthropic documentary co-presented by Canada Goose and Xinhua News Agency’s mobile platform. The film shares stories of local herders deeply involved in ecological conservation and community development, revealing a resilient and harmonious relationship between humans and nature. The Sanjiangyuan National Park Nature Experience and Community Engagement Project is a key pillar of Canada Goose’s global sustainability strategy. The brand remains deeply committed to environmental and ecological protection worldwide, honoring and safeguarding the habitats we live in.
