Burberry

British luxury brand Burberry has announced the departure of Lee Goldup, its Global Procurement and Merchandising Director.

Lee Goldup joined Burberry in 2023, initially serving as Director of Digital Curation. Prior to Burberry, he held the role of Retail and Buying Director at Danish fashion and lifestyle brand Wood Wood, and was also a Menswear Buyer at the long-established London-based retailer Browns Fashion.

Following his departure from Burberry, he has launched his own consultancy firm.

Oscar de la Renta

Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, Co-Creative Directors of American luxury fashion brand Oscar de la Renta, have announced via their personal Instagram accounts that they will step down to focus on their own fashion label, Monse.

Their final collection for Oscar de la Renta will debut for the Fall 2026 season and will be available for purchase in February next year.

Both designers began their careers at Oscar de la Renta—Laura Kim joined in 2003, while Fernando Garcia came onboard in 2009. In 2015, the duo briefly left the brand to establish Monse, but returned a year later to take charge of the brand’s ready-to-wear, bridal, accessories, and childrenswear collections.

Oscar de la Renta has yet to announce their successor.

Paul Smith

Ewan Venters joined the Paul Smith board as an Independent Director in February this year. He previously served as CEO of British luxury department store Fortnum & Mason, where he led the company to repeated record-breaking performances. He also held management roles at luxury retailer Selfridges.

Venters also served as CEO of global contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth. He is a trustee of the King’s Foundation and was awarded an OBE in 2024 by the King for his contributions to international trade.
