Saint Laurent, the brand under French luxury group Kering, has appointed Johnny Coca as Creative Director of Men’s and Women’s Leather Goods, All Accessories Categories and Lifestyle Collections.

Johnny Coca’s appointment forms part of the brand’s strategy to consolidate its key growth pillars. By bringing in an expert renowned for creating globally successful “It bags,” Saint Laurent aims to further strengthen the appeal of its accessories offering while ensuring strong alignment with the silhouettes and aesthetic codes established by Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello. In his new role, Johnny Coca will be responsible for embedding Anthony Vaccarello’s creative vision across the brand’s leather goods and accessories collections.
Johnny Coca’s career has been defined by commercial success, with several of his designs becoming benchmark pieces. Prior to joining Saint Laurent, he served as Women’s Leather Goods Director at Louis Vuitton.
After graduating from the Boulle and Duperré schools of design in Paris, Johnny Coca began his career at Louis Vuitton’s Asnières workshop. He later spent five years as Creative Director of British brand Mulberry, where he launched bag designs such as the Amberley and Iris. In 2020, he rejoined Louis Vuitton.
His tenure at Céline during the Phoebe Philo era was also one of the most significant chapters of his career, during which he led the creation of iconic bags, including the Trapeze and Trio.
Valentino
Italian luxury brand Valentino has appointed Liran Peterzil as Chief Marketing Officer, effective March 2.

Based in Milan, Liran Peterzil will officially succeed Yigit Turhan. He will be responsible for leading and shaping the brand’s global strategy, overseeing worldwide marketing, communications, events, media relations and brand experience. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Riccardo Bellini.
He will also collaborate closely with Creative Director Alessandro Michele and join the Leadership Committee. This strategic governance body was established by Riccardo Bellini in December 2025, against the backdrop of a broader reorganisation of the management team, with the aim of strengthening internal alignment and collaboration.
Liran Peterzil brings more than 20 years of international experience in brand development and communications across the luxury, hospitality and entertainment industries. Over the course of his career, he has held senior management roles at Swiss luxury group Richemont, Giorgio Armani, boutique enterprises and creative artist agencies. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Lanoa, a UAE-based global strategy consultancy. He has also worked with government institutions and cross-industry partners around the world.
LVMH
French luxury group LVMH has appointed François Kohler as President of South Asia and Southeast Asia, effective February 23.

He succeeds Chris Chong, who is pursuing new opportunities, and will report to Stéphane Bianchi, Managing Director of the LVMH Group and Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Stéphane Bianchi commented: “I believe that South Asia and Southeast Asia are highly dynamic markets, and there remains significant room for expansion for the Group and its brands in the region. I am convinced that François Kohler’s entrepreneurial leadership, his adaptability in multicultural environments, and his proven track record in expanding retail networks at both Group and brand levels will make him a key driver in seizing the best development opportunities.”
Asia, excluding Japan, accounts for approximately 26% of LVMH Group’s total business and includes high-growth markets such as Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, in addition to the Chinese Mainland.
François Kohler graduated from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris with a degree in physics and also holds a master’s degree from HEC Paris. He began his career in 2004 at the Louvre Museum and joined Louis Vuitton four years later, working at the brand’s flagship store on Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris. He subsequently held senior retail management roles in Eastern Europe and, in 2016, was appointed Store Director of Louis Vuitton’s Fifth Avenue location in New York.
In 2018, François Kohler moved to LVMH Group headquarters as Retail Development Director. In 2023, he joined Loro Piana as Regional Manager for the Mediterranean region and Greater France.
