Christian Dior Couture

The French luxury brand Christian Dior Couture has appointed Benedetta Petruzzo as General Manager, effective October 15.

In her new role, Benedetta Petruzzo will lead all product teams, oversee the supply chain, and manage the information systems and data departments. She will work closely with the company’s President and CEO, Delphine Arnault, to develop and implement the global strategy.

With extensive experience in the luxury industry, Benedetta Petruzzo’s most recent role was CEO of Prada Group’s Miu Miu, where she led the brand’s strategic transformation over the past 18 months. Petruzzo has also held leadership positions at Kering Eyewear, overseeing the company’s expansion in North America, and worked as a consultant at Bain & Co, focusing on consumer goods and luxury sectors. She holds a master’s degree in management from Bocconi University.

Gucci

The Italian luxury brand Gucci, under Kering Group, has appointed Davide Buzzoni as Global Communications Director, succeeding Benjamin Cercio, the former Senior Vice President of Global Communications. Buzzoni will report to the brand’s Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, Alessio Vannetti.

In his new role, Davide Buzzoni, who has a wealth of experience in the luxury industry, will be directly responsible for global media office activities and corporate communications, ensuring alignment with Gucci’s values and vision.

Before joining Gucci, Davide Buzzoni’s most recent role was Global Public Relations and VIP Director at Loro Piana, an Italian luxury brand under the LVMH Group. He has also held positions at Moncler, Prada Group, and Burberry.

Jumeirah

The Dubai-based luxury hotel group Jumeirah has appointed Julien Soyez as Vice President of Communications.

In his new role, Julien Soyez will be based in Dubai, helping to advance Jumeirah’s communications strategy and building the brand in new markets. He will oversee all areas of communications and social media for Jumeirah, reporting to Chief Brand Officer Michael Grieve.

Prior to joining Jumeirah, Julien Soyez served as Global News Director at Gucci and held various roles in creative brand marketing and communications at Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and Marc Jacobs.
