German luxury brand MCM has appointed Dirk Schönberger as Global Chief Brand Officer.
Schönberger is currently serving as Chief Brand Officer at international furniture company Vetsak and will now simultaneously oversee branding for both companies.
He originally joined MCM in 2018 as Global Creative Officer and was promoted to Global Brand Officer in 2022 before departing in 2023.
Born in Cologne, Germany, Schönberger graduated from Esmod in Munich. He previously worked at designer brand Dirk Bikkembergs. In 1996, he launched his own menswear label, which later expanded into womenswear before closing in 2009. In 2007, he was appointed Creative Director at German brand JOOP!, and three years later joined German sportswear giant Adidas as Creative Director.
Hugo Boss
German fashion and luxury group Hugo Boss has appointed Georg Faisst as General Manager of the Central and Eastern Hub.
Faisst is currently in a leadership position at American fashion group PVH, where he has worked for over 14 years. Prior to PVH, he spent more than seven years at Hugo Boss, where he served as Head of Global Travel Retail.
He holds degrees from California State University and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
John Smedley
British royal warrant-holding knitwear brand John Smedley has appointed Jess McGuire Dudley as General Manager.
McGuire Dudley currently serves as Deputy General Manager and Global Brand Director. In her new role, she will succeed Ian Maclean, a member of the Smedley family, who will become Executive Chairman.
She joined John Smedley in 2014 as Head of Marketing and has made significant contributions to the company, including overseeing recent product initiatives, manufacturing refurbishment projects, and the transformation of marketing and sales. Before joining the brand, she held positions at Triumph Group and Multiple Projects.
Simpson Marine / Sanlorenzo
Italian yacht manufacturer Sanlorenzo has appointed Daniele Lucà as CEO of its Hong Kong-based yacht sales and services company, Simpson Marine.
In his new role, Lucà will oversee the operations and growth of Sanlorenzo, Bluegame, and Nautor Swan brands through Simpson Marine, with a focus on expanding distribution networks and brand visibility in the Asia-Pacific region while enhancing service standards. He will report directly to Sanlorenzo Executive Chairman Massimo Perotti.
This appointment is part of Sanlorenzo’s organizational restructuring, aimed at strengthening its global leadership framework to support continued international growth.
Lucà joined Sanlorenzo in 2023 as Global Sales Director of the Yacht Business Unit, where he led global commercial operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific, NAFTA, Latin America, and the Caribbean, overseeing the development of the sales and distribution network.
He previously held senior roles at SNAM S.p.A., Teoresi S.p.A., and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, with a background spanning the energy transition and automotive sectors. Lucà holds an MBA from ESCP Business School in Paris.
