David Greenberg is a veteran executive at L’Oréal Group, having served the company for over 32 years. He has held numerous leadership roles across departments, brands, and functions, and is considered a key figure behind L’Oréal’s rise to market leadership in the United States.
Alexis Perakis-Valat (Chinese name: 贝瀚青) is currently President of the Consumer Products Division. He joined the group in 1994 and has held several key leadership roles in strategic markets, including France, Spain, Germany, and the Chinese Mainland. From 2010 to 2019, as CEO of L’Oréal China, he doubled the company’s business and spearheaded its digital and e-commerce transformation. In 2013, he joined the Executive Committee as President of the Asia-Pacific Zone while continuing to oversee the China business. He has served as President of the Consumer Products Division since 2019.
Fabrice Megarbane (Chinese name: 费博瑞), currently Chief Global Growth Officer, has been with the group for over 24 years. He previously served as CEO of L’Oréal China (2019–2023) and President of the North Asia Zone (2021–2023).
Vianney Derville has worked at L’Oréal Group for 29 years and has served as President of the Europe Zone since 2016. Prior to this, he held leadership roles in Japan, Spain, France, and the United States.
Emmanuel Goulin joined the group in 2000 and has held a variety of international roles throughout his career, including leadership positions in Japan, Hong Kong, the UK, and France. Since 2022, he has served as General Manager of L’Oréal Italy.
Eva Yu, currently President and Managing Director of L’Oréal Hong Kong, joined the group in 2000 as Brand Manager for Biotherm Hong Kong. In 2011, she became General Manager of Travel Retail for the Asia-Pacific region, becoming the first female Managing Director of the region.
Unilever
On September 16, European consumer goods giant Unilever appointed Srinivas Phatak as its new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Srinivas Phatak joined Unilever in 1999 and has held several key roles, including Group Finance Manager, VP of Supply Chain Finance for the Americas, VP of Finance for South Asia, and Executive VP of Finance and Risk Management.
In February of this year, while serving as Deputy CFO and Group Controller, Srinivas Phatak was appointed Acting CFO. At the same time, the company began a global search for a permanent replacement. After six months of talent assessment, the Board unanimously selected him as the best candidate for the role.
Srinivas Phatak will receive a fixed annual salary of €1.175 million (approximately USD $1.24 million), along with eligibility for an annual bonus and performance share plan awards.
Puig
Spanish fragrance, beauty, and fashion group Puig has appointed Vincent Baland as General Manager of Travel Retail for Europe.
Vincent Baland previously spent 22 years at Japan’s Shiseido Group, where he held senior leadership roles such as VP of Travel Retail for EMEA and the Americas, GM of Travel Retail in Latin America, and GM of Marketing and Travel Retail for the Asia-Pacific region. He began his career at LVMH’s Christian Dior Parfums division, where he served as Sales Manager and Brand Manager for the French market.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Sciences Po Paris and an MBA from HEC Paris.
Elizabeth Arden / Revlon
Revlon has appointed Amber Garrison to lead the Elizabeth Arden brand and oversee the company’s global fragrance category.
Based in New York, Amber Garrison will work closely with cross-functional teams around the world. She commented, “We will build on Elizabeth Arden’s rich heritage through bold storytelling, breakthrough product innovation, and relentless consumer focus. In fragrance, Revlon’s portfolio is on a strong growth trajectory, and we’ll accelerate it by creating unforgettable scent experiences that resonate across generations.”
Michelle Peluso, CEO of Revlon, stated that Amber Garrison will unlock the full potential of both the Elizabeth Arden brand and the group’s global fragrance business.
Most recently, Amber Garrison served as Global Brand President of Origins, an Estée Lauder Companies brand, where she was responsible for driving innovation and digital acceleration. Earlier in her career, she worked at Boston Consulting Group, developing expertise in skincare, fragrance, brand transformation, global strategy, and consumer engagement. She holds degrees from Rice University and the London School of Economics.
