Peak Performance

Amer Sports has appointed Stefano Saccone as the President of its Swedish fashion and outdoor brand Peak Performance, effective April 1. He will also join the company’s global leadership team.

In his new role, Saccone will succeed Sara Molnar, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities. He will be based in Stockholm, Sweden, and report to Stuart Haselden, CEO of Arc’teryx and the Technical Apparel division.

Stefano Saccone brings extensive global brand leadership experience and omnichannel expertise in the sportswear and apparel industry. Before joining Peak Performance, he served as the CEO of Woolrich and previously held executive positions at VF Corporation, Nike, and Ralph Lauren.

Timberland

VF Corporation’s outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland has appointed Drew Villani as Global Creative Director of Marketing.

In this role, Villani will be responsible for executing Timberland’s creative vision, including brand marketing, art direction, photography, store design, styling, and video production.

Prior to joining Timberland, he served as the Senior Global Creative Director at Calvin Klein. He has also worked as Art Director at 3.1 Phillip Lim and later as a contract creative director.

Cotopaxi

Sustainable outdoor brand Cotopaxi has announced two key leadership appointments:

  • Craig Rowley as Chief Marketing Officer
  • Sara Westbrook as Senior Vice President of Product and Merchandising

Meanwhile, Cotopaxi co-founder Stephan Jacob will take on a more active role. Over the past 10 years, Jacob has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Now, he will transition into the roles of Chief Global Growth Officer and Chief Business Development Officer, focusing on expanding Cotopaxi’s presence in Canada, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and corporate/wholesale channels.

These changes mark the first leadership adjustments under new CEO Lindsay Shumlas, who took office in December 2024.

In his new role, Craig Rowley will lead the company’s marketing strategy and strengthen Cotopaxi’s consumer influence. He previously held positions at Nike, Mountain Hardwear, Shutterfly, Toyota, and REI.

Sara Westbrook will oversee the development of unique outdoor apparel and gear for Cotopaxi. Her past experience includes roles at Marine Layer and J.Crew.

Perfect Moment

Luxury lifestyle brand Perfect Moment, known for its ski apparel, outerwear, swimwear, and activewear collections, has announced a series of executive changes:

  • Jane Gottschalk, Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, will also assume the role of President. In this expanded position, she will continue shaping the brand’s vision and development while working closely with the newly appointed executives to align strategy and execution.
  • Chath Weerasinghe has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). With over 20 years of experience in luxury, retail, and consumer goods, he previously served as Finance and Operations Director & Vice President for Canada Goose’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) division, leading global expansion efforts.
  • Vittorio Giacomelli joins Perfect Moment to oversee product strategy, development, and innovation. With over 30 years of experience in design, product development, and sourcing, he specializes in sportswear and luxury fashion. His previous roles include Vice President of Product & Sourcing at Canada Goose, as well as leadership positions at Moncler, The North Face, Napapijri, and Nike.
