French heritage candle and fragrance brand Trudon announced the appointment of French designer Hugo Ferroux as its new Creative Director. He will also oversee creative work for the brand’s sister label, Carrière Frères.

Hugo Ferroux brings more than a decade of senior creative experience in the luxury industry. He previously held key roles at Mugler and Saint Laurent, where he spent 11 years. He began his career at Saint Laurent as a footwear designer, later becoming Art Director and Image Research Designer. Most recently, he served as Creative Director of SAINT LAURENT RIVE DROITE.

In recent years, beyond its core businesses of scented candles and home fragrances, Trudon has continued to expand into skincare and personal fragrance lines, a direction that closely aligns with Hugo Ferroux’s professional expertise. He will be tasked with driving brand renewal, conveying Trudon’s heritage in ways that resonate with a new generation of consumers.

Tatcha

Japanese luxury skincare brand Tatcha announced the appointment of Diane Kim as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective February 9.

Diane Kim previously served as Global Senior Vice President of Marketing at The Estée Lauder Companies. Since 2024, she has been an industry advisor at investment management firm Advent International. She has also held the role of Global Brand President for Advent International portfolio brands, including Laura Mercier, BareMinerals, and Buxom.

In 2019, Tatcha was acquired by Unilever for USD 500 million. Following the acquisition, founder Vicky Tsai stepped away from brand management, later returning during the COVID-19 pandemic. After two consecutive years of sharp sales declines, she led a brand transformation and became deeply involved in brand operations.

In a statement, Diane Kim said that her tenure will initially focus on global business expansion, with plans to grow the brand’s presence in the UK, Europe, and Asian markets.
