Chinese professional outdoor brand “Outopia,” rooted in trail running, has recently completed its Series B financing round.
This round brought together leading domestic and international capital, with China Prosperity Capital leading the investment, followed by Challenger Capital, Ventech China, and Shunwei Capital as co-investors. Notably, Shunwei Capital has invested in the brand for three consecutive rounds, while Sunward Capital served as the financial advisor.

Founded in Shanghai in 2021, Outopia was established by former lululemon Canada executive Aaron Jackson and former LVMH Asia-Pacific executive Alexis Hou. The brand is operated by an international team from the Chinese Mainland, New Zealand, Australia, and other countries. With trail running as its entry point, Outopia is positioned in the new-generation professional outdoor sports market. Its outdoor gear made from proprietary merino wool technology has gained popularity among trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts.
