The French beauty giant L’Oréal Group intends to nominate Pablo Isla as its new Vice Chairman.

As the major shareholder holding approximately 20.1% of L’Oréal’s shares, Switzerland’s Nestlé Group has proposed the nomination of its Chairman, Pablo Isla and its Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources, Anna Lenz, as new directors of L’Oréal, for a four-year term.
L’Oréal’s Board of Directors has decided to appoint Pablo Isla as Vice Chairman of the Board, serving alongside Jean-Victor Meyers, who also holds the position of Vice Chairman. The appointment will officially take effect following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on April 24, 2026.
Pablo Isla served as Chief Executive Officer of the Spanish fast-fashion giant Inditex from 2005 to 2011, and subsequently succeeded founder Amancio Ortega as Executive Chairman from 2011 to 2022. He has been Chairman of Nestlé since October 1, 2025.
L’Oréal Group emphasised that Pablo Isla will bring to the Board “his recognised ability to define and execute strategic visions that combine transformation and growth at an international level, his deep understanding of regulatory and risk management matters, and his extensive experience in corporate governance.”
Wella
Professional haircare company Wella Company has appointed Calvin McDonald as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2.
Calvin McDonald brings extensive experience in the fashion industry. He stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Canadian sportswear brand Lululemon Athletica Inc. last December. Before joining Lululemon in 2018, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sephora Americas.

Upon assuming the role, Calvin McDonald will join Wella Company’s Board of Directors and will be based in New York. He currently also serves as a member of The Walt Disney Company’s Board of Directors.
Glenn Murphy will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the company, providing transition support and strategic advice to the new Chief Executive Officer and the management team. Notably, Glenn Murphy previously served as Co-Chairman of lululemon’s Board of Directors, where he worked alongside Calvin McDonald.
Calvin McDonald holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario.
Revlon
US beauty group Revlon has appointed Mario Rivera as Chief Operating Officer, effective February 16.

In his new role, Mario Rivera will oversee the company’s global supply chain management, including procurement, planning, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, transportation and customer logistics, reporting to Revlon Chief Executive Officer Michelle Peluso.
Mario Rivera has more than 25 years of operational experience in the healthcare sector, with expertise spanning medical technology, life sciences, retail and pharmacy, as well as global manufacturing. He has previously held senior executive positions at Target, Danaher, Becton Dickinson and Integer Holdings, with responsibilities covering P&L management, product development, marketing, engineering, quality, global sourcing and programme management.
Prior to joining Revlon, Mario Rivera served at CVS Health as Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain and Logistics Officer, where he led group-wide logistics and supply chain modernisation initiatives. Earlier in his career, Rivera held executive roles in the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Switzerland, overseeing manufacturing strategy, omnichannel fulfilment and distribution network optimisation.

Rare Beauty, the beauty brand founded by US actress and singer Selena Gomez, has announced the latest executive appointments:
- Joyce Kim promoted to Chief Brand Officer
- Ashley Murphy promoted to Chief Marketing Officer

In their new roles, the two executives will continue to build brand equity across beauty and fragrance categories, drive innovation in user-friendly packaging to enhance product accessibility, and explore new marketing tools on social media platforms such as Snapchat.
Prior to these appointments, founding Chief Marketing Officer Katie Welch had departed the brand and joined French luxury house Chanel in January this year as Head of Brand and Communications for the United States.
Both Joyce Kim and Ashley Murphy are long-serving members of Rare Beauty. Joyce Kim was the brand’s founding Chief Product Officer, while Ashley Murphy joined the company in 2019 and most recently served as Vice President of Consumer Marketing. Joyce Kim previously worked at Nyx Cosmetics under L’Oréal, while Ashley Murphy has professional experience at The Honest Company and Hourglass.
