Canadian athletic apparel manufacturer lululemon Athletica (LULU.O) has announced the appointment of Chip Bergh to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. With this addition, lululemon has appointed five new independent directors over the past five years.
Chip Bergh will stand for election to the Board at the 2026 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, succeeding former director David Mussafer, who joined lululemon’s Board in 2005 and served as Co-Chair from 2014 to 2017.
Bergh served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Levi Strauss & Co., the parent company of Levi’s, from 2011 to 2024, and was also a member of its Board of Directors. Prior to that, he spent 28 years at Procter & Gamble, holding a range of brand management, general management and executive leadership roles, most recently serving as Global President of the Grooming business. From 1979 to 1981, he served in the United States Army.
Bergh has been a director of HP Inc. since 2015 and currently serves as Non-Executive Chair. He also serves on the boards of e.l.f. Beauty and Pinterest, Inc., and previously served as a director of VF Corporation.
He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Business Administration at Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Lafayette College.
lululemon also reiterated that it is continuing its search process for the company’s next Chief Executive Officer.

Under Armour
Under Armour has appointed Toby Hunter as Vice President of Wholesale and Distributors for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

In his new role, Hunter will be based at Under Armour’s European headquarters in Amsterdam, overseeing the brand’s wholesale channels and distributor partnerships across the region.
Previously, Hunter spent 30 years at Nike in Europe, beginning his career in the United Kingdom before moving to the company’s European headquarters in Amsterdam. During his tenure, he served as Vice President of EMEA Football Partnerships and led multiple sales teams across Europe.
Peloton
US fitness equipment company Peloton has appointed Chief Accounting Officer Saqib Baig as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective March 27. Current CFO Liz Coddington will step down on the same day to pursue new career opportunities outside the fitness industry.
Baig has served as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer since November 2022, overseeing corporate controllership, financial reporting, compliance, financial operations and financial technology. Since August 2025, he has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Peloton’s Commercial business.
Baig brings more than 25 years of global finance and leadership experience. From 2019 to 2022, he worked at Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook, where he was responsible for accounting risk, valuations and financial reporting. Between 2015 and 2019, he led financial reporting and audit functions at Colgate-Palmolive. Earlier in his career, he gained extensive finance experience at GE Capital and Deloitte.
Scarpa
Italian outdoor group Scarpa has announced the latest executive appointments for its North American business:
- Jonathan Degenhardt has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of North America and will assume the role in mid-April, serving as Co-CEO alongside current CEO Kim Miller;
- Mark Mathews, previously Vice President of Sales, has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer;
- Joe Higby, formerly Vice President of Finance, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance and Operations.
Kim Miller helped establish Scarpa’s North American business in 2005 and became Chief Executive Officer in 2006. He will retire in 2027.
Jonathan Degenhardt brings more than 25 years of experience in the outdoor industry, having served as General Manager at brands including Deuter, Ortovox, La Sportiva and Movement Skis. He has expertise across management, marketing and sales, and operations, with broad experience spanning footwear, apparel and equipment categories. He joined Scarpa in 2005 at the inception of its North American business, initially working in sales.
Mark Mathews previously served as Sales Director at outdoor brands Sierra Designs & Ultimate Direction and Vasque Footwear. In his new role, he will continue to oversee sales while expanding his responsibilities to include product category development, product line planning, distribution, market research and go-to-market strategy.
Joe Higby’s responsibilities will expand to encompass overall operations for Scarpa North America, including oversight of supply chain and logistics, distribution and systems management.

Escalade
US sporting goods company Escalade Inc. has appointed Patrick Griffin as full-time Chief Executive Officer and President. Griffin has served as Interim CEO since October 2025, following the departure of former CEO Armin Boehm.
Griffin has served as a Director of Escalade Inc. and Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations since 2012. Previously, he was President of Escalade subsidiary Martin Yale Group, and earlier in his career held roles in sales, marketing and product management at Escalade.
Earlier in his career, Griffin held positions in business development and strategic planning at Network Commerce, Webcentric and Koch Industries.
