Personnel Updates | New Leaders at Benetti, SKIMS, CH, and Wolverine

Benetti

Italian yacht manufacturer Azimut|Benetti has appointed Angel Zhou as President of Sales for Benetti Asia, effective October 15. The move supports the shipyard’s strategic expansion in the Asian luxury yacht market.

In her new role, Zhou will oversee commercial operations, marketing initiatives, and client relations across the Asia-Pacific region.

Zhou brings nearly 20 years of experience in the global maritime industry. In 2007, she played a pivotal role in organizing the China Cup International Regatta, one of the world’s most influential sailing events.

She later joined Simpson Marine, where she spent over 15 years. During her tenure, she led the establishment of five new branches in China, significantly expanding the company’s regional presence. She was eventually promoted to Vice President of the group, where she oversaw strategic growth among Asia’s high-net-worth individuals, cultivated partnerships, and developed client-centric services.

Carolina Herrera

American luxury fashion house Carolina Herrera has announced a series of management appointments across marketing, PR, and celebrity and influencer relations:

  • Stephanie Ogden has been named VP of Marketing and PR

  • Eduardo Lozano Lopez has been promoted to Global Director of Marketing and PR

  • Nina Sisco has been appointed Director of Celebrity and Influencer Partnerships

A seasoned executive in the luxury fashion industry, Ogden most recently worked at Tom Ford and previously held various senior marketing roles at Versace over a seven-year span.

Lozano Lopez recently served as creative consultant and producer at his own firm, EduLozano. Prior to that, he spent nearly seven years at Puig, where he was Brand Content, PR & Influencer Manager for Carolina Herrera. His earlier experience includes roles at L’Oréal and Junior Consultant.

Sisco most recently worked at YSL and has previously held positions at Burberry and Gucci.

SKIMS

Dawn Vitale has been appointed Chief Merchandising Officer at SKIMS, the underwear and lifestyle brand founded by reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian.

Vitale joins SKIMS from Levi Strauss & Co., and previously held senior roles at PVH Corp., including VP of Tommy Jeans and Head of Merchandising for Calvin Klein Jeans International. She also worked at Gap earlier in her career.

Wolverine Worldwide

Wolverine Worldwide, the parent company of performance and outdoor brands including Merrell, Saucony, and Sweaty Betty, has named Justin Cupps President of its Work Group division. He succeeds longtime executive Tom Kennedy, who is retiring.

In his new role, Cupps will oversee the company’s workwear brands: Wolverine, Bates, Cat Footwear, Harley-Davidson Footwear, HyTest, and Merrell Work. He will report directly to Wolverine Worldwide President and CEO Chris Hufnagel and join the company’s executive leadership team.

Cupps has nearly 30 years of experience in driving growth and innovation across global consumer brands, including Under Armour, Adidas, Gant, and And1. Most recently, he served as SVP of Sport Performance Brands for EssilorLuxottica North America, managing a $1.25 billion brand portfolio that included Oakley and Costa del Mar.

Tom Kennedy joined Wolverine Worldwide in 2015 and most recently served as President of the Work Group. During his tenure, he held several key leadership positions, including Global President of Sperry (2017–2020) and President of Apparel and Accessories (2015–2017). Before joining the group, he held senior roles at Nike, Gap, Fossil, and PacSun.
