Loewe

Spanish luxury house Loewe, part of the LVMH Group, has appointed Eloise Hautcoeur as Global Communications Director.

In her new role, Eloise Hautcoeur will succeed Thierry Conrad Reutenauer and report to him. After serving as Global Communications Director for four months, he was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer in February this year.

Eloise Hautcoeur will now oversee Loewe’s global communications, including public relations, VIP and celebrity relations, as well as offline events.

Most recently, Eloise Hautcoeur served as Global Communications Director at Italian luxury house Versace, which she joined in 2025. Prior to that, she led Northern Europe PR for Bottega Veneta in London. Earlier in her career, she held roles across PR, talent management, media, events, and partnerships, both in-house and at agencies, including serving as UK PR Manager for Saint Laurent and Senior PR Director at London-based agency KCD. She began her career at brands such as Agent Provocateur and Vivienne Westwood, and is a graduate of the University of the Arts London.

Moschino

Italian luxury brand Moschino has announced the departure of Creative Director Adrian Appiolaza, to be succeeded with immediate effect by Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo.

Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo are the founders and creative directors of Italian fashion brand Sunnei, a role they will hold until September 2025. The brand’s majority stake was acquired by investment firm Vanguards in 2020. Going forward, the duo will jointly lead Moschino’s creative direction, with their first collection set to debut during Milan Fashion Week in September 2026.

Massimo Ferretti, Executive Chairman of Moschino’s parent company Aeffe S.p.A., said that achieving a balance between brand identity and innovation is essential for a fashion house. He noted that Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo possess the qualities needed to meet this challenge, including a contemporary creative vision, strong cultural sensitivity, and the ability to shape a distinctive and relevant creative language. He added that their appointment is expected to further strengthen Moschino’s brand and support its development in the years ahead.

Adrian Appiolaza joined Moschino in early 2024, overseeing womenswear, menswear, and accessories. He previously served as Womenswear Design Director at Loewe, part of the LVMH Group, and has also worked at Chloé.

Fondazione Altagamma

Fondazione Altagamma, the Italian luxury industry association, has appointed Giovanna Vitelli as President for the 2026–2029 term.

Giovanna Vitelli is Chair of Italian yacht-making group Azimut|Benetti.

Over the past three years, she has served as Vice President of the association, overseeing the yachting sector. Her predecessor, Matteo Lunelli, President and CEO of sparkling wine brand Ferrari Trento, completed two terms during which he focused on advancing the internationalisation and sustainability of Italy’s luxury sector.

Alongside the announcement, Giovanna Vitelli unveiled the association’s strategic plan for 2026–2029, built around three key priorities:

  • Promoting the core values underpinning Italy’s high-end manufacturing;
  • Safeguarding traditional craftsmanship while strengthening talent development, particularly among younger generations (with 276,000 new jobs expected in the sector by 2028, around half of which may face talent shortages);
  • Expanding the industry’s global footprint and deepening engagement in international markets.

Kerzner International

Kerzner International, the luxury resort operator behind Atlantis, One&Only, SIRO and Rare Finds, has appointed Céline Assimon as Chief Commercial Officer.

In her new role, Céline Assimon will oversee the group’s commercial and brand strategy, working closely with teams across its global resorts and corporate headquarters.

Céline Assimon previously served as CEO of De Beers Jewellers and De Beers Forevermark. She has also held CEO roles at de Grisogono and senior leadership positions at Louis Vuitton and Piaget. During her tenure at De Beers, she expanded both core and high jewellery collections, repositioning the brand as a design-led luxury jeweller. She also strengthened its global presence by building partnerships with leading international collaborators, and led preparations for the opening of its flagship store on Rue de la Paix in Paris earlier this year.
