March 2, Seattle-based U.S. high-end department store chain Nordstrom reported financial figures for the Q4 and full fiscal year 2022 ending January 28, 2023. It announced that it would close its operations in Canada because the struggling retailer does not see “a realistic path to profitability” in the Canadian market.
Nordstrom Canada operates six Nordstrom stores and seven Nordstrom Rack stores, as well as the Nordstrom.ca website, and employs approximately 2,500 people.
