French outdoor sports brand Salomon has appointed Guillaume Meyzenq as its CEO and President, effective January 1.

Guillaume Meyzenq, who most recently served as Salomon’s Chief Product Officer, has been with the company for over 28 years. During his tenure, he has held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of the Footwear Division.

In his new role, Guillaume Meyzenq will focus on driving the brand’s global expansion, with an emphasis on increasing its visibility in North America and the Greater China markets.

James Zheng, CEO of Amer Sports, Salomon’s parent company, stated: “Guillaume has achieved international success in winter sports and outdoor footwear sales. HUGO BOSS

German fashion and luxury apparel group HUGO BOSS has appointed James Foster as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, effective January 2025.

James Foster brings over 13 years of experience from German sports giant adidas, where he held various leadership positions in global marketing and integrated management. He has also served as Global Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer for European home goods leader IKEA and was most recently responsible for marketing at streaming platform Netflix in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, based in Amsterdam.

In his new position, James Foster will succeed Nadia Kokni, who left the role in December 2024 to pursue new business opportunities.

Helinox

Korean outdoor brand Helinox has appointed Seb Murphy as Commercial Manager for the European market, effective January 1.

In his new role, Seb Murphy will oversee the implementation of two major initiatives: an upgraded version of the brand’s Chair One (re) and the launch of the new Helinox Play product category.

With over a decade of experience in the outdoor industry, Seb Murphy most recently served as Sales Manager at ProAgencies. He previously held roles at Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports and worked at stores operated by The North Face and Snow+Rock, representing a range of outdoor brands, including Helinox.

Founded in 2009, Helinox is renowned in the outdoor gear sector for its superior functionality and quality, particularly its ultra-lightweight folding chairs.
