Personnel Updates | Unilever Appoints Chief Marketing Officer; Executive Reshuffles at L’Oréal Group, ISDIN, Revlon, and Others

Unilever

European consumer goods giant Unilever has announced that Leandro Barreto, currently Chief Marketing Officer of the Beauty & Wellbeing division, will take on expanded responsibilities overseeing marketing across the entire group. He will assume the role of Group Chief Marketing Officer starting January 1, 2026.

As part of this executive reshuffle, Unilever’s current Chief Growth and Marketing Officer, Esi Eggleston Bracey, will step down at the end of January 2026.

Leandro Barreto has been with Unilever for three years, previously serving as Global Vice President of Marketing for the Skin Cleansing and Baby Care division, Senior Vice President for Dove’s masterbrand and skincare business, and was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer of the Beauty & Wellbeing division in January 2024.

L’Oréal Group

Julie Fortier, a 19-year veteran of L’Oréal Group, has been appointed General Manager of L’Oréal Professionnel Products Division in the United States.

Fortier joined L’Oréal Group in 2006, starting as an Education and Business Consultant and Sales Analyst. She later served as General Manager of Business Development for Redken, and in 2019 was appointed General Manager for Kérastase and Shu Uemura in Canada. In 2022, she became Vice President of Sales for the Professional Products Division in Canada, and in 2023 was promoted to Senior Vice President for North America.

ISDIN

Spanish skincare brand ISDIN, part of the Puig Group, has announced that its President, Marian Puig, will step down.

Marian Puig had served as CEO of ISDIN since 2002 and was named President in 2015. In recent years, he has gradually stepped back from management roles to focus on overseeing personal assets.

According to Spanish business daily Expansión, following his departure, the board will initiate an “orderly transition” process to appoint his successor as Chairman. Marian Puig will remain with the company as Honorary Chairman. Juan Naya will continue as CEO, a position he has held since 2015.

Revlon

Revlon has appointed Ariadne Oliveira as Vice President of Global Professional Hair Marketing Innovation.

Oliveira previously served as Senior Vice President of the Global Hair division at Wella Company. Before that, she was Vice President of Regional Marketing at Coty, Marketing Director at Nestlé, Category Manager for OTC Innovation in Europe and North America at Reckitt Benckiser, and Global Marketing Manager for the Dairy Division at Danone.

Sacheu Beauty

Beauty influencer Sarah Cheung’s lip liner brand, Sacheu Beauty, has announced two executive appointments:

  • Michelle Miller has been named the brand’s first Chief Marketing Officer

  • Connie Kim has been appointed Chief Financial Officer

Michelle Miller was previously Chief Marketing Officer at haircare brand K18 Hair. She also served as Vice President of Marketing at Kosas Cosmetics and held the role of Senior Marketing Manager at Too Faced Cosmetics.

Connie Kim is a seasoned executive in the beauty industry. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at skincare company Topicals. Before that, she was Vice President of Technical Operations and Strategy at Unilever. Her earlier career includes positions at Google, McKinsey & Company, and Deloitte.

Sacheu Beauty was launched in 2021 by YouTube beauty influencer Sarah Cheung in partnership with early-stage venture capital firm Third Act Ventures, which focuses on investing in brands aiming to radically redefine aging. The brand originally debuted with skincare tools, and in February 2023 expanded into cosmetics.

Ulta Beauty

U.S. beauty retailer Ulta Beauty has appointed Mia Young as Senior Vice President of Cosmetics, effective January 5, 2026.

Mia Young previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at Unilever-owned skincare brand Tatcha and makeup brand Hourglass. She was also Chief Merchandising Officer at Lane Crawford, and earlier held positions at Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York, and Bergdorf Goodman.
