Loewe
Spanish luxury brand Loewe, part of LVMH Group, has appointed Eva Baquedano as President of its China subsidiary.
In her new role, Eva Baquedano will be based in Shanghai, succeeding Mark Shorten, who had held the position since 2023.
Eva Baquedano joined Loewe in 2019 as Head of Strategic Project Management in Madrid. In 2020, she was promoted to Omnichannel and Client Services Director, and most recently served as Managing Director for Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Eva Baquedano holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from ICADE at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the United States. She has more than a decade of strategic and management experience in the fashion and consulting industries, having previously held management positions at McKinsey and Spanish fashion brand Mango.
Balenciaga
French luxury brand Balenciaga, part of Kering Group, has appointed Francesca Nardi as Global Communications Director.
In her new position, Francesca Nardi will take over part of the responsibilities previously held by Ludivine Pont, who joined Italian fragrance house Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella as Chief Executive Officer last year.
In her new role, Francesca Nardi will oversee and coordinate all communications activities, working closely with the brand’s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli, who also comes from Valentino, and Chief Executive Officer Gianfranco Gianangeli. Her responsibilities will include media relations, VIP and celebrity relations, as well as major brand and corporate events, supporting the brand in enhancing its visibility, consistency of communication, and appeal.
Francesca Nardi most recently served as Global Brand Communications Director at Italian luxury brand Valentino, departing the company in June 2024. During her nearly 17 years at Valentino, she held several senior positions. Prior to that, she served as Global Events Director at Burberry for three years. She studied at The American University of Paris and The American School in Milan.
