Salomon, the French outdoor sports brand under Amer Sports, has appointed Vincent Du as General Manager of Greater China.

In his new role, Vincent Du succeeds Yin Yi and will be responsible for the brand’s development and business operations in Greater China. Yin Yi has been appointed General Manager of Greater China for Arc’teryx.
Vincent Du most recently served as Vice President of Merchandising for Nike Greater China and has been with Nike for over 20 years. His previous roles include Vice President of Women’s Merchandising, General Manager of the North and West regions, and General Manager of Nike Basketball and NBA business in Greater China. Vincent Du graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Asics
Japanese sportswear giant ASICS has strengthened its management team in the Chinese Mainland with the following appointments:
- Koji Hayashi has been appointed Chairman of ASICS China and Senior President of ASICS Greater China, effective January 1 this year
- Jen Gu has been appointed Vice President of Marketing for Greater China, effective July 1
- Tina Ma has been appointed Vice President of Sales for China, effective July 1

In his new role, Koji Hayashi will take full responsibility for the brand’s business operations and development in the Chinese Mainland.
Koji Hayashi brings over 30 years of multinational management and leadership experience. He joined ASICS in 2015 and has served as Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer since 2024, leading the group’s financial strategy. During his tenure at headquarters, he was responsible for investor relations, actively communicating the company’s value and strategic direction to global investors and analysts. With extensive experience in corporate management, global business expansion, capital strategy, investor relations, and supply chain optimisation, he has played a key role in driving the group’s operations, enhancing financial efficiency, and optimising strategic positioning.
Jen Gu will continue to lead the marketing function while further advancing brand marketing, consumer engagement, and the execution of multiple key strategic initiatives, strengthening ASICS’ brand influence.
Jen Gu has over 20 years of experience in brand marketing and communications, having worked extensively with leading international sports and consumer brands. She joined ASICS in 2016 and later became Head of Marketing for Greater China, leading the team to drive premiumisation and business growth, significantly enhancing the brand’s influence and market performance.
In her new role, Tina Ma will continue to oversee wholesale and e-commerce channel sales management while focusing on expanding sales channels and upgrading operations. Through initiatives such as introducing new product categories, deepening collaboration with core distributors, and exploring emerging e-commerce platforms, she will drive sales growth.
Tina Ma has more than 20 years of experience in sales management. As a member of ASICS China’s founding team, she has been with the company since 2006, holding key roles across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce, with extensive expertise and insight in sales management.
Puma
German sports brand Puma has appointed Marcia Dos Santos as Vice President of the newly established BU Core (Core Business Unit).

In her new role, Marcia Dos Santos will report directly to Chief Brand Officer Maria Valdes.
Marcia Dos Santos has over 20 years of experience in the sports industry. She most recently served as Vice President of Women’s Merchandising for Nike in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
As part of its ongoing transformation plan, Puma has established dedicated operating teams for its Sportstyle and Core business units.
Lowa
German mountaineering footwear manufacturer Lowa has appointed Giuseppe De Biasi as General Manager of Operations.

In his new role, Giuseppe De Biasi will be fully responsible for design, product development, production, and core headquarters functions, and will join the Lowa Management Committee alongside Andrea Dorigo and Marco Pirani.
Before joining Lowa, Giuseppe De Biasi served as Retail General Manager for Greater China at Luxottica. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Retail Sales and Operations for Luxottica across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, and Greater China, with over 12 years of service at the company.
Gymshark
British fitness apparel brand Gymshark has appointed Shaun Perkinson as Chief Technology Officer.
In his new role, Shaun Perkinson will succeed John Douglas, who is set to retire.
Shaun Perkinson has more than 20 years of experience in the technology field. From September 2025 to July 2026, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Saudi company Al Waha Travel Retailer. Prior to that, he was Chief Technology Officer at British apparel brand Boden and also held senior technology leadership roles at Tory Burch and Burberry.
