French sporting goods retail giant Decathlon announced its preliminary performance for 2022, with a net profit of €923 million. The group’s global sales, including tax, reached €18.8 billion, with domestic market (France) sales, including tax, increasing by 12% YoY to €4.7 billion, and a growth of 21% compared to pre-pandemic 2019, contributing to 25% of the group’s revenue.
In terms of channels, online sales accounted for 17% of Decathlon’s total sales in 2022, compared to 8% before the pandemic in 2019, but slightly lower than 21% in 2021.
