Byredo
Ben Gorham, the founder and Creative Director of Swedish fragrance and beauty brand Byredo, owned by Spanish fragrance and fashion group Puig, will step down at the end of this month.
Ben Gorham, a Canadian of Indian descent, founded Byredo in Stockholm in 2006. A graduate of the Royal School of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Gorham was previously a professional basketball player before transitioning into the fragrance industry. In 2013, private equity firm Manzanita Capital acquired a controlling stake in Byredo.
In May 2022, Puig acquired a majority stake in Byredo from Manzanita Capital, further strengthening its portfolio as a high-end fragrance group. The deal was reportedly valued at up to €1 billion. In February 2024, Byredo’s Global CEO, Nicolas Cordier, announced that management of the brand had been officially transferred to Puig.

U.S. consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) has announced several executive changes:

Craig Arnold has joined the company’s Board of Directors, effective June 9.

John Brownlee has been appointed CEO of the Specialty Beauty division, succeeding Colin Walsh, effective August 1.
Craig Arnold currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Eaton Corporation. Since assuming the role in 2016, he has integrated renewable energy solutions and digital technologies into Eaton’s portfolio, driving significant revenue and margin growth. Previously, he served as Eaton’s President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing strategy and operations. From 2009 to 2015, he was Vice Chairman and COO of Eaton’s Industrial Sector. Arnold began his career at General Electric, holding various positions in its appliance, plastics, and lighting divisions, with responsibilities across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
John Brownlee was most recently Senior Vice President of P&G’s North America Hair Care division, a role he will continue to hold following his new appointment. A seasoned executive at P&G, Brownlee has held key roles in oral care, skincare, and professional hair care. He took over leadership of the North America Hair Care division in 2020. Under his leadership, P&G expanded its haircare portfolio to include Mielle Organics, alongside brands such as Herbal Essences, Head & Shoulders, Native, and Pantene.
IFF
U.S.-based fragrance and flavor giant International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) has appointed Gina Drosos to its Board of Directors, effective June 16.
Gina Drosos brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience across the retail, consumer goods, beauty, and healthcare sectors.
Most recently, she served as CEO and Board Director of Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest diamond jewelry retailer, from August 2017 to November 2024. During her tenure, she led a major transformation of the company, enhancing digital capabilities while improving the customer experience. Drosos also spent 25 years at Procter & Gamble, where she was Group President of Global Beauty, Skin Care, Cosmetics, and Personal Care. She is known for her transformative and purpose-driven leadership style.
In addition, Drosos currently serves on the boards of U.S. sports retailer Foot Locker Inc. and the United States Golf Association. She was also previously a board member of American Financial Group, Inc., where she served on the audit and governance committees.
Galderma
Galderma GALD.S, the Swiss skincare group and parent company of the Cetaphil brand, has appointed Heather Wallace as President of its U.S. operations. She will be based at the company’s newly opened headquarters in Miami.
Heather Wallace is a seasoned business leader with deep expertise in dermatology and consumer health. She previously served as CEO of personalized skincare brand Curology and as President of Revlon’s Americas region. During her time at Revlon, she led strategic and cultural transformations aimed at improving profitability in the U.S., the company’s largest market.
