lululemon
Canadian yoga and athletic apparel brand lululemon announced the following executive changes:
-
Calvin McDonald will step down from his roles as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective January 31, 2026.
-
As of that date, Chief Financial Officer Meghan Frank and Chief Commercial Officer André Maestrini will serve as interim Co-CEOs.
-
Board Chair Marti Morfitt has been appointed Executive Chair, effective immediately.

Calvin McDonald
lululemon’s Board of Directors has engaged a top-tier executive search firm to conduct a comprehensive search for the company’s next CEO. Until the appointment is finalized, the interim Co-CEOs will jointly oversee all aspects of the business.
Calvin McDonald is currently working closely with the Board to ensure a smooth transition. He will continue supporting the company as a Senior Advisor until March 31, 2026.
Since taking on the CEO role in 2018, Calvin McDonald has led lululemon through a period of rapid growth, with annual revenue more than doubling during his tenure. This fiscal year, revenue is expected to surpass USD 11 billion. The brand has expanded its global footprint to over 30 countries and regions, with the Chinese Mainland becoming lululemon’s second-largest market. The company’s product portfolio has also expanded, with significant growth in athletic and lifestyle categories, and formal entry into high-demand performance sportswear segments such as tennis and golf.
lululemon’s stock price has risen approximately 40% since Calvin McDonald became CEO in 2018. However, over the past year, shares have declined by nearly 54% due to softness in the North American market, bringing the company’s current market capitalization to approximately USD 22.4 billion.
During the leadership transition, Marti Morfitt will focus on executing the company’s short- and long-term growth strategies. She joined lululemon’s Board of Directors in 2008 and was appointed Chair in 2022. Since 2008, she has also led private equity firm River Rock Partners and has previously held senior leadership positions, including CEO of Airborne and President and CEO of CNS.
Meghan Frank has served as lululemon’s Chief Financial Officer since 2020. She joined the company in 2016 as Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to that, she held senior finance and merchandise planning roles at retailers Ross Stores and J.Crew.
André Maestrini was appointed President and Chief Commercial Officer of lululemon in 2025. He joined the company in 2021 as Executive Vice President of International. Previously, he spent 14 years at adidas in a variety of global senior leadership roles.
