Arc’teryx
Professional outdoor brand Arc’teryx has appointed Yin Yi as General Manager for Greater China.
Yin Yi previously served as General Manager for Greater China at Salomon, which is also part of Amer Sports. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Alibaba Group and Nike.
During the transition period, Leo Ma, President of Amer Sports Greater China, will oversee the Salomon team and business until a new brand leader is appointed.
Amer Sports stated that the move is expected to activate organisational potential and drive the brand’s continued deepening and development in the Chinese market.

On
Swiss sportswear company On Holding AG announced that co-founders David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti will assume the roles of Co-CEOs, effective May 1.

Upon assuming their new roles, the two will succeed Martin Hoffmann, who became the sole CEO of On in April 2025. Previously, he led the company to its initial public offering (IPO) in 2021 together with then Co-CEO Marc Maurer. Hoffmann also served as On’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for 13 years. He will remain with the company as an advisor until March 2027.
Brooks Running
U.S. heritage running brand Brooks Running (hereinafter referred to as “BROOKS”) announced a series of executive leadership changes:
- Carson Caprara promoted to Chief Product Officer
- Melanie Allen‘s responsibilities as Chief Marketing Officer expanded
- Mike Billish appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas

Carson Caprara previously served as Senior Vice President of Footwear and Apparel. In his new role, he will oversee the global product strategy. He joined BROOKS in 2005 as a technical representative and has since held multiple management positions within the company.
Melanie Allen will assume broader responsibilities, leading BROOKS’ global brand vision. Her expanded role includes long-term strategic planning, global consumer insights, and oversight of omnichannel brand experiences across online and offline platforms. She has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer since 2017, previously holding marketing leadership roles at Starbucks.
Mike Billish previously served as Vice President of Sales and Service for North America. In his new role, he will oversee all operations in the region, including wholesale, direct-to-consumer retail, marketing, and store operations.
Snipes
Germany-based sneaker and streetwear retail chain Snipes has appointed Samuel Deichmann as Chief Executive Officer.

In his new role, Samuel Deichmann will succeed Dennis Schröder and be responsible for Snipes’ strategic development across all European markets. His mandate includes strengthening market positioning, advancing omnichannel expansion, deepening collaboration with global brand partners, and continuing the transformation initiatives launched in recent years.
Samuel Deichmann is the son of Heinrich Otto Deichmann, Chief Executive Officer of the Deichmann Group, Europe’s largest footwear retailer. The Deichmann Group also operates the Rack Room brand in the United States and acquired a majority stake in Snipes in 2011.
Samuel Deichmann has been a member of the Management Board of the Deichmann Group since 2020.
Snipes entered the U.S. market in 2019 through the acquisition of East Coast-based retailer KicksUSA, which operated 62 stores. In 2022, it further expanded its U.S. business through the acquisition of Jimmy Jazz. The company currently operates more than 680 stores across Europe and the United States.
